Description:
The
Preliminary Course looks at the Legal System, the Individual and the State, and
the Law in Focus. The major themes studied involve Justice (law and society),
Culture (values and ethics) and conflict and co-operation. Overall the course
aims to develop student's knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to
the legal system and its effectiveness in promoting a just and fair
society.
