Description:
Students
studying this course must have a good knowledge of and skills in, the basics in
Mathematics. It is constructed with the assumption that students have completed
the 5.3 strand of the School Certificate Mathematics course. Students with a
high level of achievement in the 5.2 strand of the School Certificate Mathematics
course may also consider attempting Mathematics 2 Unit. This course deals with
mathematical concepts, many of them abstract, and all of which may be applied
in scientific or technical areas.
