
Curriculum
The school provides a broad curriculum with general extension and vocational courses.
Subjects offered in the junior school (Years 7-10) include:
English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, French, German, Italian,
Japanese, Information and Software Technology, Commerce, Careers, Technology,
Exercise and Sport, Graphics Technology, Industrial Technology
(timber), Metal Technics, Food Technology, Textiles Technology, Visual Arts,
Visual Design, Photographic and Digital Media, Ceramics, Music, Drama, Personal
Development, Health & Physical Education and Dance. All students do
Sport on Wednesday afternoons.
Higher School Certificate:
In the senior school (Years 11 and 12) the following subjects are available
for the award of the Higher School Certificate.
English (advanced, standard and extension), Drama, Mathematics (general and extension),
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Senior Science, Earth & Environmental Studies,
Geography, Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Modern and Ancient
History, History (extension), Society & Culture, Visual
Arts, Visual Design, Photography, French, German, Design & Technology, Engineering
Science, Textiles & Design, Food Technology, Music 1, Personal
Development, Health & Physical Education (PD/H/PE), Dance and
Software Design & Development.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses in Hospitality Operations,
Information Technology, Construction (all Certificate II) and Entertainment Industry (Live
Theatre Production - Certificate III) are also available.
Students can access a broad range of subjects at the TAFE campuses - Brookvale,
North Sydney, Central Coast and at the Northern Beaches Secondary College.
